In a fashion world flooded with “celebrity designers”, it’s refreshing to find just one who does more than just slap her name on the label. Like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, I’m a firm believer that Lauren Conrad is one of the select few celebrities that is more than a face paired with a brand. Even though her designs are often minimal, each piece in her Paper Crown collection shows maturity and thought. Her collections always tell a cohesive story and reflect current trends; this spring, LC takes us on a journey to popular destinations for “summering” like Nantucket, Providence, Montauk, Newport, Charleston, and Savannah- “nicer” locations where people actually use words like “summering.” She chooses destinations by the water to explore spring’s popular nautical theme with navy blue stripes and prints of sail boats.
The most refreshing thing about Lauren Conrad is that she actually wears the clothes she designs. Which look is your favorite? I love the Charleston Top and Williamsburg Trouser!
