Dip, Tie Dye, or Buy it

There are so many cool trends in color effects showing up in fashion and interior design right now. My favorites include watercolor, ombre, tie dye, and dip dye. Ombre and dip dye color effects are even showing up in the most unexpected places- like hair and nail color! Even celebrities like Lauren Conrad and Demi Lovato are sporting pink streaks of color in their hair on the red carpet! Other celebrities like Rachel Bilson are wearing their hair in a more natural version of the ombre trend with their hair fading from dark to light.

I have wished for a long time that I could pull off LC’s color dipped hair….. but alas, it doesn’t really work well on brown hair as it does on blonde.

Glad you are joining us for Blog Brunch on Saturday! Looking forward to having you.

Thank you! I have blonde hair but I kind of like it that way! You’re probably right though- I looked at the DIY and I saw bleach, so you may want to steer clear!

I can’t wait for Blog Bruch! I just have to make myself wake up by one; I’m terribly nocturnal!

  3. Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with SEO? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share. Kudos!

    • Sara says:

As fas as plugins go, I’d recommend “Yoast WordPress SEO.” The best advice I can give is to do keyword research on Google AdWords and determine which keywords are most realistic for your site to rank for. For instance, even though my site is a fashion site, I’m not trying to rank for “fashion” because there’s way too much competition. I hope that helps. Good luck!
